New from Orlando

Hi everyone,
I've been lurking around reading as much as I can for the last few weeks, getting ready to take the MSF course at the end of the month and hopefully get a bike shortly after that. I've already learned a lot from this forum and look forward to learning much more.

At one time there were ninja 250's in the MSF courses, try to see ahead of time what they use. Good luck. Only tip is use your rear brake at the same time as throttle when having to go reaaalllll slow (cones). Luck.

Thanks everyone, I just got back from my second day at the MSF course (3 day course at Orlando Harley Davidson.) everything is going well so far. I am slightly surprised at how natural it felt considering I've never been on a motorcycle outside of an arcade before today.

Thanks, I've been keeping an eye on that thread. Unfortunately I almost always work wed-sun 1400-2200 near downtown.

Good news, I just got home from passing the MSF course. Now to get it on my license and then find a bike.

Not to push you along too fast but I assume that you just completed the Basic MSF course, however consider the Sports Bike Rider Course. They really teach you a lot about sports bikes, especially the importance of using the front brake to it full potential.
