Hello All

Hello everybody. Great forum. I have been reading here for a few days
now. And today i bought a 2001 green 250 off of craigslist. Looks really
good cant wait to get it insured and on the road.

Reading this forum for a few days always make you want to go out and buy a 250. That way you can relate to all the other members.

Good choice, however; you can never get rid of your 250, no matter what.

haha so true, gotta at least try to rebuild it from the bottom up first.

the 3 is a lot smoother and "telepathic" feeling along with more torque and such, I doubt a stock 250 would get you off of it often. a 250 set up for track would do the trick for sure though.

I doubt a stock 250 would get you off of it often.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I already know i am going to like it here.
Last night i pulled all of the body plastics off (guessing its ok to call it plastics)
just to check everything and to clean her up real good. Didn't see much wrong
found the lower cowl is cracked on the bottom 'no big deal' and she needs brake
pads and tires. Other then that looks pretty good. I will try and take
some pictures sometime this week..
