I'll go check ebay for one then. I guess I'll just let out my inner squid in the name of bright and visible colors on my helmet.

My only worry is that the LEO will automatically assume I'm a squid. Oh well. Mohawk for this guy.

If you don't ride like an escaped convict on speed, you ought to be fine...I don't believe the popos would be as profiling and narrow minded as to target you because of your attire, but hey, they've done far worse things...but I don't let that worry me

Of course
I think I'll have to split it in half because of the vent at the back of my exo400. If I just attach it in one piece, I might not be able to reach the switch to open/close the rear vent. Not to mention, if I put it anywhere on the back, it will cover up my reflective vinyl that I attached for night-time visibility. I might just have a double width mohawk on the top of my helmet.

I just have to prepare for the serious heckling I'm going to get from @massacremasses

Lol, well people certainly don't wear mohawks because they're the 'norm', whether it's on their helmet or their hair.

the front has aftermarket callipers (brembo/nissin 4 pots?), but AFAIK both sides get pressure from a single line & there's no second disc up front...

Cool looking bike tho (pity it's not yours... )

It might look low because I lower it 2" I'm 5'4 and just started riding not to long so it helps me not to tipi toe and actually flat foot on the ground. I like to be really cautious. I respect and love my bike and want to take care of it as she takes care of me. I put the heat shield just as a precaution too and not to get burn like some people I heard

I got some pictures right before nightfall on Sunday. This one managed to come out cool because of the lake.

Figured I might as well picwhore out my new exhaust system as well. It has a few scratches on the can, but it looks great in pictures since they're shallow scratches.

I thought this picture was cool as well after some editing :

Hmmm, it was difficult to pic which picture was my favourite out of all the photos i've taken of the 250. . . .. but i'll post this one . . . . . although it's on par as one of my top favourites in the batch of many photos i have.

How did you get the rim tape on so straight around the rim? Looks great without the wavy look of an unsteady hand.

Patience! A lot of it! LOL!

A lot of pulling up and putting back down as I was laying it around the rim... It was pretty sticky stuff, so I could do that a few times if I needed to. And if you look closely, there are a few places where the tape broke and I had to overlap a little... But from a few feet away, looks fine (as you can tell in the pics)!

Was it the pre-curved tape? I would imagine that the straight ones would be harder to install.

Nope, not pre-curved! It was this one: http://www.cyclegear.com/eng/product...tor/web1006840

The tool is crap, doesn't help at all... But I just picked a line (the inside of the rim where it started to curve) and just followed it... The first side of the rim was okay, second was better and by the time I got to the last side, I had it down pretty good... So if I ever do another bike, it should be easier! LOL!
