Smile hi ya'll

Just wanted to say hi to everyone im new to the site...my little black ninja is broke down right now but I hope to fix her soon ...cant wait to go riding when it warms up. its cold and icy here..but yea just wanted to say whats up to everybody.

seattle gets a lot of rain tho right? so that's gotta cramp ur style a little. but yea here in the mountains we get our fair share of ice which sucks good to meet all of u...

well that's cool..so I have a question where do I find the technical type threads on this site..im having petcock issues, flooded my carbs and starter solenoid aint doin its job..where would I find the threads that touch on these subjects guys? seeing as how im new and all

I'm a fairly new student of the forum myself. There was a recent fuel petcock thread in the pregen section a couple of weeks ago. Usually the guy with the problem is in denial that the petcock could be the problem. I think the newgen ninjettes have some petcock differences compared to the old pregens. Hopefully some newgen folks will chime in.

In general, a modern vacuum operated petcock will not leak fuel if you disconnect the fuel line below the petcock and open the petcock without the engine running (or cranking). If fuel comes out under those conditions, the ptecock needs rebuilding or replacing.
