I stopped during the transition from WWF to WWE. Good times back then, wrestling with my little brother. I was grounded at least 10 times from going off the top rope back of the living room couch to land on my brother watching Sat. morning cartoons.

I just thought it was funny and he was pointing upward, towards Timm's post and making a goofy face similar to what I would do.

First, congratulations Chris! Well deserved. @SLOWn60 - can't do it for a pair of reasons, one fun and the other more detailed. The fun one is to think of MOTM request privileges as temporarily highly valuable but quickly expiring presents. Sort of like soft cheese. Yours went bad about 3 weeks ago.

The issue with the different username colors is a bit more complex. Doing so requires maintaining a separate usergroup. This adds a surprising amount of admin overhead; every change made on the forum needs to be checked for each active usergroup. Adding the color change to the existing separate MOTM group was very manageable, but adding a third group anew would likely result in Chris running into occasional permissions errors and other quirks, as changes work unexpectedly if they are not accounted for in each group. In all (some) seriousness, it's just something that takes way more than 8 minutes (let's say 9 for the MOTY winners) to keep working correctly over time.

@Alex; me & my humour are like a bad case of athletes foot: hard to get rid of but smells more like Limburger which come to think of it...smells & lingers like stinky feet!
Fortunately; there's no ignore button here so I'll continue to brighten your day with my brilliant MOTM suggestions! ...no; that's not a MOTM suggestion!
All in good fun, of course!

I think the MOTY privilege should be the ability to grant knighthoods.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I'd trust Chris with a sword. He might go all kung-fury on you.

It's a great tool! I have had to use it often in other forums to filter out the trolls & tools! Here; not a single person has tempted me to hit the kill switch!
....unless I get Rick Rolled again!

Ok; I've Thread-Jacked enough!

Back to the topic: Sincere congrats, Chris! I'll always look at your username and see Purple!

No lotto for me. I fully understand the problems that come along with large sums of money and I want no part of it. I would rather be poor...

I'd rather have a skyline, but that's just me.

I would like to help all of my family, then build a track for all my friends with full accommodations... room, grill, showers, fire pit, water, food, garages, etc. I believe it was started in KY and never finished. I would finish it....

We all like to goof around and post crazy stuff, but getting back on track here…

Thank you all, seriously… I stand behind my belief that I did nothing special.

In fact, I was nothing more than a mere witness to many, many ninjette members making their own personal breakthroughs. Some of them were on the race track, many, many more were not and those riders may not even know it yet, but they will in time. I was only there to smile, to laugh, to encourage, to help, to be an enabler and to share in their success as best I could. But the special and real things that happened are not owned by me, they belong to YOU all. Also, to have meet some of your family members and see their faces light up was especially important.

I know that it is not my choice, and respectfully… with modesty & appreciation accept any thanks you give me, for I am forever humble.
