Hey everyone,
I am a long time reader of this forum, but since I should be getting my bike today, I decided it was time to register. I am so excited I can't even think straight. I have wanted a motorcycle since I was ten years old and that was 16 years ago, so this has been a really long time coming for me.
Anyway, I went and looked at a 2009 250r yesterday that seems to be in absolutely great condition. When I pulled up to the guys house, his car was spotless clean and detailed which was the first sign that he new what was up. Either way, he is supposed to trailer it up to me today for the low low price of a beer, so pretty stoked on that.
The only concern I have is that it idles a little high. I have already gone through the forum and found the page on fixing that so I was wondering if this is of any concern otherwise? It was around 2 grand if my memory serves me correctly. That being said, it started and idled like a champ without any signs of a hiccup whatsoever so I don't think that I should be too worried.
Either way, I have been through a lot of forum browsing and you all seem to be the best one going. Glad to be a part of it.
