left peg broke

hey guys, the left footpeg snapped off, just the gray part(step) do i just need to order a new step or should i just get a whole new peg? i can just take off all the old pieces of the peg and put it on the new step correct?

Not what events made it snap off. But how did it snap off. Pic would go far. Since the foot peg can snap off in many different ways we need more info in order to best direct you to fixing said issue in the most efficient way.

Ooo ok, like right where the peg gets thinner so that the spring bolts washers are still in and it can move up and down

You can find aftermarket and used in ebay- maybe add some bling to it while you are at it. Sounds like you only need the peg.
