No snow here but had plenty of snow flurries today. Lows this week is in the 'teens. Usual is around 35-40 degrees. Just means I need to add an extra layer before I ride out

Coldest ride to date was at 8 degrees for 15 minutes till my fingers became numb from the cold, but once you ride in that cold of weather the mid to lower twenties don't seem as bad anymore. lol

Roads are s*** by my place. the main road was alright but still slow go to work. Got the crap scared outta me on the way when a tree came down about 5 or so feet from my car.

The best part was in the freezing rain, with the roads all slushy, about 3 cars behind me was a dude on a bike....

Then he gets off on 95.

No thank you! Even if that was my only mode of transportation (and lets face it in these parts that kinda dumb) i would be calling out.

41 Degrees today and cloudy; it wasn't raining, so I took the bike to work.

It felt good, although I think I need a scarf or something to keep the cold air off my neck.

Ugh! Darn winter storms ! At 14 dregs it takes most the day for the wood stove to heat the garage enough to go and work in it!

I just dress warm and let my finger go numb !

It stinks . So cold I don't even want to work on my bikes :/

I vote we dig a big moat across the northern part of the Florida peninsula and separate it from the rest of us.

There is already a separation. It's the Saint Marys River named after the Irish Saint of warm weather. You could cal it a moat since it is dangerous to cross because it is filled with alligators (to keep northerners out).

It's funny that people think it is hotter here than the rest of the country in the summer. When it is hot here (in the summer) it is hot everywhere. Most of the time it is cooler here due to the Atlantic (and Halifax River in my backyard) and the Gulf of Mexico.

Anyway, I lived up north for most of my life so I do feel for you (suckers).

Got over 10" of snow today in Worcester county Mass. I really wish the warm weather would come and stay. I managed to get a couple of short rides this winter when the temps got over 40F but I really don't like the idea of cold rubber and salty sandy roads. The worst part is that it will be late March or early April before they get all the sand swept off of the roads and you can go into a blind corner without worrying the entire corner is a sheet of sand! Ride safe and get your bikes ready so when the warm weather arrives we are all ready to ride!

This is one of the best winters ever here! Right now, it's 32F, not a cloud in the sky. I've got a nice fillet mignon on the grill outside: 2 minutes to go. Gonna eat, then go for a ride in the nice, dry, cool sunshine!

Aw man... Don't shoot the messinger!

Steak and the half glass of cab sauv really hit the spot! (didn't have lunch at work). Time to put on the long johns, Protek jeans, and enjoy the sun on one of the 250's. Ninja has a little better wind protection...

Happy Wednesday!

Don't be haters!

Post ride report: Roads were nice! Dry except where the occasional natural spring bubbles up through the tarmac. Fortunately only a few of those, and in known locations (Music Man comes to mind: " ... but you gotta know the territory...").

Shadows are getting very long. Temp has dropped to 27F. Bike back in the garage.

I'll be a wuss tomorrow morning and take the car (as I leave the house at about 4:10 and it's dark and cold and at that time of day I can park closer to my building than the program manager [who has assigned parking]). Then in the afternoon, drop in for a visit with Mom and have snacks and a cocktail.

Tally Ho!
