Looking to get my first Ninja!

Hey all, I've caught the motorcycle bug hard and am finally looking to buy my first bike! I've pretty much decided on the 250r over the 500r as i'll be doing a lot of local commuting (Within NYC and Westchester County) and reside in NYC.

I'm taking the MSF course April 21-22 and cannot wait! After i take it, i'll start looking seriously for a bike. I've been scoruing cycletrader and craigslist and have found quite a few that I wish i could purchase right this second!

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Anyone else in NYC here? Anyone have their bike parked at SUNY Purchase??? I've seen a black 250r around and would love to figure out if I know you

Good luck getting your first bike. I'm in the exact same boat, I'm taking the MSF April 20th-29th.

I've found that a 250 listed on craigslist for a reasonable price only lasts about 24 hours before it's sold. Because of this I'm taking a trip to the dealer tonight to see what their best OTD price is.
