Just some photography!
For the last 6 months I've been having a go at photography.
It was originally an escape after a bad break-up that to be honest I'm still not over, never the less it does cheer me up and Ninja + Camera = match made in heaven. I've not done anything with it yet, although I do have 2 commissions coming up soon. A wedding and a garden nursary, but I really enjoy the abstract, surreal and ones with my bike in it! I've taken thousands but these are some of my favourites, I hope you like them. These were taken with a Canon Eos 1100d |

They all look like instagram pics... Do you have any that aren't so heavily processed?

Many were just taken using the differnent features on the camera.
I have a lot of minamally processed shots and long exposure. The ones I put up are only my favourite ones, theres a whole lot more. I'll put more of them up but I gtg to work now |

Sweet. I got a Pentax k-x last year for the GF. It's a great camera but we find it a burden to carry around an slr everywhere we go. Thinking about selling it and "downgrading." Some of the new P&S cameras have amazing indoor / low light sensitivity now, and priority modes...

The Canon S100 is a great little camera if your looking to downgrade and not get something completely crap.

ctrl + scroll-up to view --- then ctrl + 0 to return to normal. crisis averted. That's some nice work, @Matz. Sorry to hear about your predicament I have every confidence you'll make it out okay. Until then, it's good to do things you can be proud of. I know i've needed that for myself time and again.

Thank you lambchops!
Thank you everyone, I was a bit hesitant at putting these up, it's difficult not to get slated these days what with likes of photoshop being around. Quote:
As for those new cameras, it's amazing how good they are now, I don't think it'll be long before they and mid-range DSLRs like mine become the same! Here are a few more, some of them are a bit more "pure" so to speak. The long exposure of the traffic was actually the first ever picture I took with the camera. Just goes to show how easy they made it to use. I barely knew what the hell I was doing, I was basically just playing with the buttons! The last ones are some I did for a friends art degree show. |

Nah there meant to be shared.
Maybe one day when I think I'm good enough I will, after these commissions I don't know what might happen??? I'll see if I can upload a higher-res one of the "Love" photo, although I think it might already be I'm afraid, I can't remember if I'd cropped it or not, it was taken a while ago. Gtg to work now though.....AGAIN! Oh and I forgot this one: |

Watermarks are also to keep people from taking them and claiming them as their own and even profiting from them.

Yea, those are my pics! Thanks! Your pics are excellent too! I normally don't do heavy processing for my photo's except for the most recent posted ones on my tumblr (my Final Project for class). I want to take some more time out for photography as well. Life is a bit nicer with a camera and a bike! Keep up the good work. and if you do sign up(free) please add me, I would like to keep seeing your excellent work! |

Excellent shots! I have a canon 5D mk ii that definitely shouldn't be in my hands as I know very little about photography... but I enjoy it... I just don't have any time right now to take shots. I'm digging your work though! Impressive!

Thanks guys!
I too am having trouble finding time to take shots. Mainly because I'm so busy with work and the like, but also because I'm finding it hard to come up with something new :/ At the moment I'm using it to document the Hyosung GT125R I'm fixing for my brother but I've got a wedding to do on the 21st July so that should be good. Need to make business cards now!!! |

That's cool. I was asked to do a wedding a few months ago and I chickened out because I feel like I'm not ready LOL. I actually want to try and get into filming with the 5D mk ii, so trying to do something with that this summer with KillaMuf.

2. For a graphic designer, this has my name all over it, just saying. I have come to realize that not much time is needed to take pics. I took a few this past weekend on a trip to Newport, RI with a few bikes and the rush of trying to incorporate a break along with taking pics puts me in a very tight situation, but I love it (I have uploaded them to my Tumblr blog). Less time thinking and more time reacting to the environment to catch those "it" shots. The rush of adjusting ISO, Shutter, Aperture mixed with framing and timing the pic all within seconds is exciting to say the least! |

I saw your shots, there great!
I especially love that one of the rocks in the foreground and you in the background and how the focus is between the two! I will get round to making a tumblr account, just need to find time first lol Hopefully I'll get some good shots when I next go to Loch Ness, it doesn't take long to get there and I go often but always end up forgetting to take photos on account of how fun riding a bike down there is. The roads are amazing! |

It's going to be raining for like a week straight over all of the uk. Suppose to be a month of rainfall a day in most of England and not much better up here. I will definitely be out as soon as it's better though! Thanks for liking the photo, it's now probably my favourite one! |
