The ninjette got lasik!

Needed to clean out the room so had to put it together. Need to decide if I should leave it chrome as-is or paint it flat black.

Satin black on everything but the shrouds, leave those chrome.

That's how I roll.

Although, a nice flat black on everything but the shrouds, then gloss black on the shrouds really pops as well, without being so in your face as the chrome.

I always thought that chrome was there for a reason.

Let there be light!

The light output is mindblowing. Literally night and day difference! Makes me wish I had done this sooner! I'm going to ditch the reflector housing and fab a mounting plate for the projectors. I've considered make a set to sell but didn't see it feasible.

Even the cheap Chinese ballast still put out a good amount of lumens despite putting out less power than high quality ballasts. I'm keeping the chrome shrouds as It gives it headlight contrast with the black fairing.

Have you got a photograph of it?
