Newbie from Independence, MO

Hello from Independence, Mo.! Just bought a 2010 Ninja 250 in blue, all stock except rear fender eliminator kit. I'm 62 and have ridden all my life from age 13. Been awhile since I've had a tiddler, other than my dirtbike, a KTM200, but I've always thought its more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a big bike slow, so I'm looking foward to getting to know my little Ninja. This will be my 4th current bike (I've owned more than 50 over the years). Right now I have: a 1970 Moto Guzzi 750 Ambassador (currently on my lift table, being disassembled for restoration) a 1999 Honda VFR800 Interceptor, a 2001 kawasaki ZRX1200R, and my new to me 2010 Ninja twofiddy. Hope to get some tips for keeping my 250 running like a top. Hard to get an impression as I rode it 25 miles home after buying it in a DRIVING rainstorm.
Sure is light rolling it around the garage though.
