Wisconsin group ride in the future?

Wanted to see who might be up for a fun group ride in the next few weeks. It would be fun to have a Ninjette cruise with some local guys.

I have a few areas in mind from the welcome thread to wiscorider414. Here's the link to that thread - http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=138175 Some members had some great ideas for areas to go.

I'm up for any of them. I personally don't speed very much just as an FYI. I try to not go more than 10 over no matter what. Just so people don't think this will be a Speedy Gonzales type ride. I do like nice twisties though. Yum-yum! So any ideas on more areas with twisties or if you want to put your vote in as to where to go.

Just wanted to get the ball rolling and see who would be interested.

So we're gna be staying in Green Bay, we should be there Friday night so if you guys wna ride/hang for a bit on Friday Saturday that should work

I'm up for getting together soon too. I don't have plans this Friday/Saturday either, but I am working Friday till 5 pm as far as I know.

How can we make this happen? Where, etc? We could always plan something for Saturday afternoon and meet up somewhere that works for everyone and is fun? I don't mind riding a bit away.

So any ideas?

Pretty much what I was going to say, except that I actually just remembered I have Friday off. So anytime Friday through Saturday I'll ride and meet up somewhere.

I'm right between Milwaukee and Chicago so I'm pretty open to where we meet.

Alright, it'll probably be some boring freeway riding unless you guys no a fun route that gets us toward our next destination. It's hard to plan it exactly when I'm still in South Dakota. I'll let you guys know as we get closer

If Jiggles is going to be involved in would have to fit with his schedule. Otherwise maybe plan something with the more local people. This Saturday works well for me. Or even a next Saturday or Sunday ride.

Boring freeway is probably all your going to find on the way from Milwaukee to Chicago. You could hop off 94 when your closer to the cities and ride through some of the towns but that's pretty slow. The only decent roads are pretty far west from Lake Michigan

So uh just post when you have an idea of when your coming through, or maybe everyone can pm phone numbers?

They call Hwy 33 the "Little Dragons Tail" and it's only 3 hours away from me!

I have to go there this summer! Argggh... Working sucks! But how else can you afford cool things like motorcycles?

Ok guys so we will be arriving in greenbay tomorrow and then leaving greenbay the day after. If you want to ride into or on the way to greenbay for a bit with us then send me a pm. Also let me know if you want to ride out from greenbay to Chicago with us, again pm meh

I'll set up a ride for another weekend soon. Maybe to do the Little Dragons Tail... will get pms out and make sure people know about it. Definitely will be contacting thisisbenji and k-os and some others.

I am going to be out of commission for a few weeks. Getting surgery next week and then won't be able to ride for like 2-3 weeks.

The guy who knows some killer roads would have to be @thisisbenji. I couldn't believe some of the roads on the cruise we went on recently!

I went there this past fall. It was very scenic, but the curves I went through were long and not fast or tight, etc. After talking to @thisisbenja he figured out that I hadn't gone quite far enough, which is by some Wildcat Park(?) or some-such park. I was so close to the good sections too!

I'll be looking into it again this next riding season for sure. We could plan more of a day of it with a few guys from around here. That could be fun.

It gets really tight and twisty once you get out near the Ski Hill off Hwy 33. Totally Amish country out there.
