Newbie

hi yall. I'm Eric and what brought me to ninjette back in december was the DIY's. After reading the posts and seeing how friendly everyone is I decided to join!

In November I purchased my 08 Ninja 250 from a guy on Criagslist (the price was too good to be true for the milage it had on it). I fell in love with it. She's in amazing condition and handles very well. Since I got it I have been making it my own adding new things and changing the fairings out.

I am pretty much on this forum everyday just to read up on what people are discussing about ninjas. Below is a picture of my bike. Hope to get some from yall. Thanks for reading !

Welcome.

The red ring on the gas tank. Is it just a stripe or is it words or graphics?

It would appear to be an extra portion of a wheel stripe...

Hey thank for the welcomes.

Yes it was an extra portion of the wheel stripe. Lol I didn't know what to do with it so I stuck it there. I think it looks good so I left it there. It's a stock black gas tank so I thought I'd add something to it plus the pervious owner had scratched it up.

The wheel stripes say kawasaki racing on them.

The fairings fit really well. Though the side fairings didn't come with the thermal heat shield lining on the inside, that isn't an issue for me since I can always add that myself. It uses the same rubber grommets and small screws just as the stock ones use and it worked out great. They aren't as flexible as the stocks ones of course but do have some strength in them so they aren't going to crack while installing them.
