Baptized name is Sonic after Sonic the Hedgehog - zippy and a bit of a treehugger. Blue and no, I don't have the matching helmet with the hedgehog mohawk..

Private name is a character from 300, Leonidas. That's when he's running smooth.

I've always named my vehicles after cartoon animals. It all started with Mighty Mouse, my silver Honda Fit:

Eventually I sold Mighty Mouse and got a Scion tC, which I had originally planned to do a grey/orange color scheme and so the tC was Hobbes (tC=tiger cat?)

The Fit had a blue Mighty Mouse decal, and this is the decal I have on Hobbes:

For my BLUE Ninjette I've been thinking Sonic, but I haven't decided yet. I like the idea of it being a little rodent though, Sonic's a hedgehog, I was also thinking maybe Mighty Mouse II, Stitch, or maybe even Pinky from Pinky and the Brain.

What do you think?

Haha, did you see my post above? My new blue is named Sonic after the Hedgehog!

He's zippy and environmentally conscious, perfect for a little Ninja.

The other name I would have used is Leonardo after the turtle and scientist but the turtle wields katana so that might not fit with the Kawasaki..

My blue will be Blue Falcon/Captain Falcon themed.

I thought of doing Sonic with red/white rims but decided against it.

No I must have glanced past this - yea it seems like an appropriate name. Still haven't settled on it though. It's definitely in the front of the pack of other names I have in mind though.

A little ninja can do everything you need it to unless you get sponsored for MotoGp. And Ninja's are very happy in corners - isn't that the most fun part of motorcycles - wheeee!

I want to name my new red 250 but after naming my old one shiela, then losing it in a house fire, i'm having a hard time naming her 'replacement' =/ (jokingly yet somewhat serious at the same time, its an odd feeling)

Since I got a good deal on my new 250 i was thinking maybe I could just sell it for some profit and hold out for a zx6r? they seem so big tho.. either way...

Name suggestions for a 2010 red 250? someone name theirs 'pheonix' and I really liked that but i wanna be original! Ideas?

Well I just thought of the name for mine today... It's Tug! If anyone here has read The Ranger's Apprentice series (its for younger audiences but I started reading it a few years ago, its good!) the main character has a sturdy, tough reliable little special breed of horse/pony that's named Tug! My bike reminds me of that, especially when I get on the throttle, fast, agile, reliable and it can blow away all the other big bikes with ease...if we're talking cruisers haha.

Started out calling it "the little black one over there". Now with the help of a buddy of mine and my wife it has been named DarC. Pronounced Darcy, but looks like dark..yeah yeah, it's still the little black one to me.

RC was named Ole Nik.
My old Fireblade back in the day was called Wankee. Sort of a miss pronounced 1K.
My first R6 was called Rix. Because I'm unoriginal.

Hopefully I will name the next bike in the stable with some sort of clever wit.

because it has 139000 miles on it and it is a 1988 bike.

When I get my bike it will get a name. like everything else I have had...my 1st car a dodge neon that didnt run right. it was the POS. A camaro my grandpa gave me was the beast since it was an iroc and would move if needed. my Blazer is called blazer since it blazes through anything I need it to do...so just wait when I get my ninjette it will get a name.
