Chinese Fairings
Well after a track day lowside and some drop damage from a previous owner, I took the plunge into getting some new fairings.
I did a little research and made the decision to go with http://www.motorcyclefairingz.com. Communication with their Sales Rep Sally were great. I initially was going to get something identical to what I already had (white special edition paint job) but when she said they do custom work for no extra charge I decided to go all in. I wanted to keep somewhat of a black/white color scheme since most my riding gear is black or white, and when I was looking around for inspiration I remembered how sick the World Superbike Team Kawasaki ZX-10R looks. Here are the images I sent in of what I wanted done - This is the rough draw I gave the go ahead on - A month later, I got news they were out of the paint shop and ready for my approval to ship - And here's a close up of a couple pieces today - My mailman said it was the biggest express package he had ever delivered. The box shipped from China on the 31st and arrived today. My total cost was $554 and it took just under 6 weeks from payment to receipt. I'm going to run out to the track next weekend, so I'm going to keep my old fairings on for the time being but will post a review and some pictures on the fitment and full installation in the near future. |

Hope your fairings don't turn dark green like mine have. Mine are manufactured by Auctmart.

Stopped by the site and that exact kit is listed in their selection of fairing kits now so apparently they liked your idea and made it a normal kit

Can't wait to hear your feedback on quality of fitment (especially on the tank cover). If it's all solid I may order a set to change up the look of mine since them doing a tank cover would keep everything completely revertible to stock.

Sorry to leave everyone hanging, long story short, I haven't installed them yet. I picked up a Street Triple a couple weeks ago which has become my daily driver/weekend fun ride. Ninja hasn't gotten any attention recently except for the track today, so I will leave you with this -
I'm debating right now whether or not I want to turn her into a pure track machine and keep the rashed fairings on and sell the new ones or just keep them until I really mess up the current fairings, which are still serviceable. |

Install em, take some pictures, post up the good ones, and then re-install the other ones. It's not THAT hard. You'll also make a lot of people happy. |

HOLY **** OP DELIVERZZZZ!!!1
It was a dick move to make you all wait. Anyway, the fitment on these are pretty good. The only issue I found was that I couldn't get the bottom two windscreen screws to find the holes. As far as the plastic, it definitely feels a little more brittle than stock (The first piece I installed was the right quarter panel by the pillion and I broke off the tab that gets screwed down by the seat lock). Also, the paint seems to be a little brittle/thin around the edges. If I were keeping her I would probably take them to a shop and get a thick clear coat put on them for extra durability. That being said, for the price it exceeded my expectations. She's going up on craigslist this week but if anyone has any special requests I'd be happy to fulfill those. |

The problem with the windscreen bolts is that two are actually slightly longer than the others. When you mix them up then they will not reach the rubber well nut. Sometimes replacement rubber well nuts are harder to reach and you have to reach in and squeeze to get them to catch (really hard).
