Back to my Roots!

I trade bikes about every year and a half. Sort of "love em' and leave em'", I guess. Years ago I had a red Ninja EX250. It had been wrecked and neglected but was eventually nursed back to perfect health. Friends were gracious enough to help me go through the gummed up carbs and repair the damaged fairing. I sold it for a profit and spent the next thirteen years with crotch rockets, dual sports, a supermoto, and several boxes of parts that I managed to assemble and ride. Now, I've chosen a bike that, despite its laudable performance and efficiency, simply appeals to me. My recently acquired 2009 250R is stock (for now) but the projected cost of my wishlist is nearing that of the purchase price. Thanks to everyone who shares their knowledge, creativity, and ideas on this forum. It is an outstanding resource. And as for my Ninja, I will love and cherish it forever.....or at least for the next eighteen months.

John

Welcome! Yes, it's amazing how quickly the cost of mods can approach the cost of a bike that you may only ride for about a year! I haven't even taken MSF yet, but have already spent over $800 on mods
