@Roark Those boots will do the job! My friend has those exact ones and they have been through a lot! Multiple downs at the track and they protected the riders feet. The only flaw I see with them is the toe sliders broke off and in a way where they can't be replaced.

After my thumb was f-ed up in my crash i put one of these on my bike because that hand still hasn't come back to full strength and fatigues quickly. Its been a godsend. Still hope to not need it at some point.

I hope so! They've got all the race protection, but without the race cost! Build quality isn't the best, but I'm honestly 100% pleased with my purchase

Seconded, I have those boots and they're freaking awesome for the price.

While I see the need for cruise control and want it myself, that is a terrible reason to get it You could also just do what I do and learn how to ride with your left hand on the throttle instead of your right, one of these days when I'm comfortable enough doing it I'll go out and get a pic at the track of me hanging off for a right hander and dragging knee while controlling the throttle with my left hand and giving the photographer a thumbs up with my right supermotard mentality right there

New long distance helmet, should be nice and quiet for this tour.

I just got it and have already installed the Sena Bluetooth. Wife has one too, so we can talk if needed

You ever use the SMH 5? Thinking about picking up a dual pack of either the smh5 or 10

I just love RidersDiscount, you can't beat their prices. Picked up the Alpinestars Stella GP Plus R Perforated Leather jacket for a great deal.

I'm glad I finally found a leather with enough perforations (that isn't black), which is really hard to find for women, except for the last year or so. It also comes with chest inserts (which I'll be upgrading to CE2), which is a nice bonus. I don't have that option on my current jacket. I'm really hoping it works out in the summer for me. Our summers get really hot (anywhere from 90-110+). I wish they had pants to go with this too, but they don't.

I love that graphic, and even the color. The helmet itself is great, too; it's the most comfortable lid I've ever worn.
