New-ish rider
So about 2-3 months ago, I decided to buckle down and get a motorcycle. I'm only 130lbs (6'2" at 19 y/o) so I knew I didn't want any bigger than a 250, and so I ended up with a green 02 ninja.
After only about a month and a half, I'd already logged 2k miles (it's funny how gas becomes super cheap when you only pay $9 per tank), so I felt confident, at the very least. Anyway, I decided to move to washington (state, as in pacific coast) after that (from NC, as in atlantic coast) with my mom (she grew up near tacoma) and sister. 3052 miles later, I'm in yelm, WA. Still riding every day, still enjoying it. I'm glad I got started attached a pic of jessica somewhere in montana, and one of when my brother (picked him up in cincinnati, OH on our way through) and I had some fun on a mountain in south dakota where there's still snow... in june. (brother is foreground, I'm behind him making a fool of myself) |

Nope, everyone but me rode in the car with my mom. Did a little bit of freeway riding with my little sister, who weighs a little bit more than me, but I didn't enjoy it. Really takes away the snappy movement of a 250 when you double the rider weight
