Hey y'all,
First week with my first bike - woo! 2012 Ninja 250r. Going to commute, and generally ride to become a good rider. You might see me in the Asheville area, anywhere through Pisgah National Forest, or along the BRP. I was just up on the Parkway this afternoon and the leafs above 3000ft are starting to turn! The next 3 weekends will be beautiful in southern Appalachia.

I'm definitely a noob, not much dirt bike experience. I took the MSF with my boyfriend last year, got my license at the same time, then he got a Husqy 310 (which I can't even stand over) and I decided to focus on other things. Quite a few guys at work ride, a few of whom raced 600s and liter bikes in the early 90's. They're always chatting about some twisty roads they just found, or moto GP, or why a Tuano is way better than a Tiger (two guys pitted against each other). It's time I step up. So I did

I've already been perusing the forums this week and love the technical stuff you've put out there (Steeper..throttle control, Motorcycle stability, 1G club). Y'all seem like a great crowd and I'm excited to join ya!
