Took the first leap!

I've been wanting a bike for a long time now and finally took my first big step. Scheduled my MSF class for the 5th of Dec. and ordered all my gear. I'm soo excited, I can't wait to get back home! Still looking at bikes, but won't be able to pull the trigger until I get back. It seems people still want ridiculous prices for used 250's in my area. Hopefully that will calm down by Thanksgiving.

Gear Ordered:
Helmet: Bell Star Cerwinskie w/the Photochromatic Visor

Gloves: Knox Handroids

Boots: Dainese Axial Pro In

Jacket: Dainese New Delmar Leather(Non-perf)

Pants: Dainese Delta Pro(Non-perf)

Went with a white/black theme, I don't mind looking like a stormtrooper

I read good things about Knox cold killers stuff as well. Since I plan on riding through the winters here I picked up, the Cold Killers Balaclava/Gloves/Jacket/Pants. I'm hoping that underneath the leathers should keep me sufficiently warm during our winters here. Never really gets much colder than the high 20's at worst.

Did quite a bit of research for gear and think this should be fine for all seasons in my area. I know non-perf leather can get hot in the summer, but I'm pretty warm blooded. Plus once you get used to the heat out here in the Arabian Gulf, I think you can take anything in the States lol.

Too excited, had to post!

Great to hear of your excitement and even better to hear you've already bought yourself head-to-toe protection in gear I love putting all my gear on before a ride.

Are you planning on buying a back protector? I'm going to get a good one as soon as I've got the money.

Good call Akima, I actually had overlooked the back protector. Just added a Dainese back protector that will slide in that jacket.
