Painting?
I recently got into a small tumble on my '05 ninja 250 and the upper cowling broke. If I cannot find a replacement in the same color, what is the best way to go about fixing this problem? Should I attempt to paint that fairing the same color as the rest of the bike (silver), or should I just repaint the entire bike? Lastly, if I were to attempt painting it myself, what's the best way to do that?

I fixed and reprayed my bike proper (no rattlecans) and it will cost you several hundred dollars and lots of time to do it right. I'd go to a body shop and ask for a quote or an auto paint store and see if they can mix the same silver if you decide to diy.

Colorite.com supossedly has a match. Our ninjas apparently are base coat. And then color coat. If you want a close enough match go to a paint supply and for 30$ than can put the matched paint in a rattle can. I am not sure which way I am going to go.
