S'up from Dirty Jersey
Hi Everyone:
New to this forum, but I am active on other forums including svrider and advrider. I have a penchant for small two-wheeled machines. I just acquired a new to me 2008 Ninja 250R and I'm interested in learning more about the bike. |

What part of north jersey? EDIT: Saw your profile. I great up just 10-15 minutes west of you in Denville. I think there are few Jersey folks on the site, as well as a good number of them in and near NYC.

Wow, cool. I host maintenance days at my home about once a season or so for local riders. It'd be good to meet you all.

Hey Yaozer, I'm very close to you. I'm off rt3 in Clifton. Maybe we'll meet up and ride together.

Welcome! Nice to see a supermoto in your list of bikes! I was looking for a used WR250X but settled for a KLX250SF.
This site has lots of info and helpful users! Enjoy it! |

Thanks, everyone.
Jono, I love my WR-X. It's such a versatile ride. It's the bike I use to commute year round in the northeast (through snow at times as well) and it handles it well. I looked at the KLX250, but I opted for the WR bc of the fuel injection, which was a big plus. RedNinja, my barber is in Clifton, so I'm there usually like once a month. Love the new Harbor Fright there also. I don't get out to joy ride on the streets too much bc of family commitments, but it'd be cool to ride with you and other ninjettes here when I get a chance. I will continue to do track days next year and maybe a trip to the Dragon. On another note, I'm excited about the new track in upstate NY and the thought of having a closer and newly paved left-hander track that is not beat up like Loudon is extremely appealing. I will prob. try riding with Pro-Motion this year. Thanks again for the welcome! |
