A-maze-ing Laughter was designed by Yue Minjun and installed in Morton Park along the English Bay in West End, Vancouver in 2009. Um, I don't think that helped the creepiness factor of the piece but ok.

Not a whole lot of public sculptures around here so going to cities that have pieces like that is always interesting, whether I agree with the artist or not.

Just got back from a trip to Florida

It was mind blowing when I stepped off the airplane and it being warm. It was in the 80's every day, too bad I didn't have my bike, but I'm definitely thinking about going to school down there.

Here's a couple of pictures from the field, where I spent a good portion of my day. Its out in Ft. Campbell at some training area. I'm part of the DART team in my unit. (Down aircraft recovery team). We just wait in case a helicopter has a mechanical failure and go recover it, its quite boooring...

Just went for a ride today with my step dad while he was on his Harley, about 68 degrees today. It was officially the longest ride I've ever taken (

~15 minutes)

I didn't stall once, but the bike was really sluggish in 1st and 2nd gear, just something I have to get used to I guess because it's a lot of stop and go. And it's also my first time ever shifting into 2nd. Had a blast! Can't imagine what riding like outside of the city will be like!

Going out again tomorrow, hopefully less cars and pedestrians.
