Lurker '08 owner, now ~5000 miles in, just dropped her
Hi, my name is Enrique, for some reason it wouldn't let me register that nick (although it said it was available). Brief intro: I first started reading posts here before I made the commitment to a motorcycle. Took the class, got an '08 Ninja 250 for a decent price about 10 months ago, black if you were wondering. I have about 20,000 miles now, about 5,000 my own. Dropped once recently (at low speed), landed on my feet somehow, hence the name Cat-Man. After the drop, I made the decision to keep the bike as long as I can (I'm in a bad financial spot currently, and have too many bikes so selling it was a real serious thought). This is my only working registered motorized transport, so it means a lot to me. I want to conclude by saying thanks to the community for all the help and documentation so far, and even a few laughs.

keep at it, drops happen, just gives you the opportunity to learn more about the bike when you fix it yourself.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. When I have a little more free time I'm going to post some pics of the bike, and plans to bring it back to glory in the accident section.
