It does not have one. I'm not sure on the legality. I plan on finding a cop one of these nights and ask him how he feels about the visibility. If he gives me the thumbs down, I'll just pick up a pair of those lighted bolts.

Oh I just realized OP wants to keep stock blinker lights too. Don't think Shawn's will do. I personally have the yoshimura fe. It's a bit pricey but it's super clean, fits well, has LED for lighting, and you can keep the stock blinkers and cargo hooks. Here's the thread on it.

Actually, mine does allow mounting of the stock signals.

Nice. I just clicked that amazon link and saw it. Was only going by your pic. Looks good; my only gripe is the lack of plate lighting, but I'm sure you can get that for less than the price difference from yoshi's fe.

I got the Yoshi kit and like how it looks, while not the cheapest it's a quality piece.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yoshimura-Fe...f33f31&vxp=mtr

You have to drill out the rivets on the small brackets that are on the stock fender and remove them so you can attach them to the yoshi unit.

Just something I've always kinda wondered. Is there any non-cosmetic reason for removing the fender? Cause I kinda actually like it on there .

For most folks, they think it looks like an awkward afterthought.

I've left mine alone, as it does stop rain from flicking up, and we get a lot of rain in my area.

In fact, it actually has a couple different purposes, and by removing it, you lose three reflectors and if you ride in the rain, the car behind you might get mud on their hood. lol

Haha I don't plan on riding when it rains but there may be a few cases when it'll happen if the weather changes throughout the day.

I wanna keep it with stock turn signals and most kits get rid of everything. Haven't found a solution aside from yoshi kit to keep everhthing as is and just get rid of the fender.

I'll check out some threads and get ideas. Thanks !

Even if you're strictly a "fair weather bike", if you ride enough miles, sooner or later you're going to have to ride in the rain.

Where I live, it's rain to go more than a week without rain, even in summer, so choosing not to ride in the rain isn't really an option.

The kit I got has the holes to mount the stock signals.
