2014 Mileage Contest

I'll start it! (Even though I haven't got my final mileage yet....)

In the grand tradition of the 2012 Mileage Contest and the 2013 Mileage Contest, I present the 2014 Mileage Contest!

Entering is simple, just post up a picture of your starting mileage for the year and then when you are done riding in 2014, post up the ending mileage picture. Any bike with an odometer can enter.

No prizes, no awards, just tracking your own mileage throughout the year and cheering on other riders.

** now i patiently wait for the next two hours before I go out riding once more to end out 2013 and begin 2014 in style! **

hmm, I think I'll enter just to see how I rack up since I'm planning a trip down to the tail of the dragon, another to eastport maine (farthest east you can go in the continental us) and another to michigan. I'm also fairly tempted to see what the rocky mountains look like but I doubt I'll do that this year since I already have so much planned.

mileage pic (taken at the time of this post but uploaded later on)

already at 4,200 since then and going up around 100mi/day now that the spring semester has started up and I don't have a functional car at the moment.

2012 Ninja 250. 24,503 mi

2007 BMW F800S. 43,035 mi

2013 Moto Guzzi V7. 1,058 mi

This is a great idea, and a good way to remind myself to bring a camera that isn't a pos like my phone's camera

You could use tank's refills and do the math at the end of this year

i'll have to carry stickers with me, and for every tank of gas, put a sticker on the tank. like a jet fighter counting other planes they've taken out or whatever

Here are my two babies mileage....very interested to see how many miles I put on them this year. I bought them both new so all that mileage was me and if I add the miles I rode before I bought my 300, I estimate I have ridden around 7,500 miles this year. Maybe I should make my New Years resolution to ride 10,000 miles in 2014.

2013 Ninja 300 - 6,815 miles
2014 Honda CRF250L - 499 miles
