New 250 owner
Just spent the day on my 2004 250 that I just bought on Saturday. Only other bike I've ever owned was a Kawasaki 400 whilst I was stationed in Hawaii. And may I say, I was impressed with the power and agility for such a small(ish) bike considering I am 6'1 and 210 pounds. I envy all of you for owning one for as long as I am sure some of you have. Chris from Charleston.

This forum is easy to remember names, odds are it's either Chris or Alex around here.

Welcome Chris, the Ninjette is amazing little bike, and once the suspension is dialed in, it's a formidable opponent in the twisties. Easy and cheap maintenance is a bonus for sure.
I've owned bigger bikes, but I love the parallel twin engines, I also own a 91 EX500, which is very similar in a lot ways to the Ninjette. With that said, he's my standard greeting, Welcome, here are just a few things to think about, 1.Get trained and licensed MSF Courses 2.ALWAYS Wear protective gear -- ATGATT All The Gear, All The Time -- including a helmet manufactured to the standards set by a government agency. 3.ALWAYS Ride unimpaired by alcohol or other drugs 4.ALWAYS Ride within your own skill limits 5.Be a lifelong learner by taking refresher rider courses, and advanced rider course A.R.C. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=218237 https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...8&postcount=26 A.T.G.A.T.T. so I may ride another day.
