Thanks guys.
I rode it around abit yesterday. Pulled the spark plug n was black so i turned mixture screw back to 2 turns out from 2.5.
Ive never had a 2 stroke. Is it a normal sound that it sounds like a tractor while idling?

so pretty and great work. You work super fast tooooo

I am taking mine apart to powder coat most of it..

frame, swing arm, fork outer tubes, calipers, perches, master cyclinders....

any details on such like did you buy a rebuild kit for the calipers and master brake cylinders( and what about the oil bullseye window, broke it and replaced it b/c it would not handle the heat?)

Everything about this tells me this is a thinly veiled advertisement for bluecollarbobbers. Not that I'm complaining, but it's pretty clear.

I havent done anything to brake calipers. I got too excited to start riding it so I left them as they are.
That oil window, I was able to pop it out with a same size socket n hammer before I baked the cover.

Sorry. These posts have nothing to do with advertising bcb.
I jus ordered their kit n thats it with them.
Actually I was planning on getting a nice pic of the bike to send to them so my bike can be put in their gallery.

great to know..

I am rebuilding the calipers and master cylinders... your bike is really inspiring..

I'll paint the engine with spray or hand.. but not powder coat as its too much work for me and I really have track withdrawals from taking so long on this.. but I rather do it right the first time....

also my tank is pretty banged up but i'll try my best to undent it; might powder coat it.. lol

I hope it is.
They worked very hard to make this kit. It looks like it's a quality product. The instructional videos are very well made.

The people I have talked to are really nice. I am looking forward to buying the kit and building my own.

Adjustable Levers

Found some used ex500 perch and adjustable levers on ebay. 2 birds 1 stone i guess. Clutch perch was in really bad condition but figured out a way to fix it. Glad levers were in gold.
