You go where you look.

You will try to do what you dream about doing -- unconsciously or not.

I dream about riding beyond my abilities.

I was being metaphorical.

Maybe I should say I daydream about dreaming that I can ride beyond my abilities. All I know is that when I dream of riding, they are good dreams.

More of an aspirational thing.

Some call it "visualization."

I don't visualize crashing.

I don't have nightmares about crashing.

I don't think about crashing. I think about riding.

I've had some messed up dreams but never of crashing. Not even after my wreck.

I dream often, both awake and asleep of riding faster and faster at the track

I've never dreamed of crashing, though I have dreamed of the tumble and that god awful scraping sound as my scorpion helmet cracked and broke on the ground

I've been in a few crashes but that was the one that I always seem to remember because of the sound, I don't remember much from when I was clipped by a car (or rather clipped a car that ran a stop in front of me then stopped in front of me as that's more accurate) nor do I remember much about my crash at shenandoah despite how ridiculous it was (I got lucky as hell all things considered, that's a spot on the track you do not want to go down in) That one I just remember the satisfaction that came from picking my battered and bloody body up and getting back on the bike to keep riding...and being sore for weeks

since i started riding i've had a recurring dream every few months that i exit the freeway, turn left to go under it, but as i'm about to go through the next light, a truck exiting from the other way blows a red light and i drop the bike from over braking and slide under the tires.

I think about crashing all the time and so I dream about it a lot. I ride around in full gear in 120* heat. And flip flops and sunglass in 75*. I am odd tho I like crashing something about that slide or flying or o **** part that I am addicted to. :/

I dream about running from the cops a lot, and usually they have a crash in them. Glad i dont sleepwalk.

Also, one of the first dreams i had about riding, i was on a blue zixxer, and i lowsided at an intersection for no apparent reason, running a red light. I got knocked unconscious, and i woke up (still dreaming) on the curb, and the bike was totalled. A cop lectured me on how i was gonna go to jail, and i cut him off because i suddenly realized i was dreaming and told him he should drop the charges because it was only a dream and nobody actually got hurt. And he said okay and i didnt wanna walk home so i woke up.

I also dream of being better than I am...and I have yet to actually try it on streets.
Never think about crashing... if you feel yourself starting to think that way. Just say to yourself "let that go." and then focus on a positive part of riding that gives you the best enjoyment.

A few times of that and you will stop that negative thinking.

I fully believe if you think it, the world will make it come true!
So keep positive as possible!

Did you have close calls similar to the dream you're having?

Everytime I ride, I replay the wreck where I wake up with me still sliding across the road behind the r6. It's a daily reminder that I'm invisible to cagers no matter what even you think they see you.

the place is right by my house but i've never had any issues there. closest thing to it is one time i was turning left at a light and a drunk red light runner tried to get me. not really very close to the same situation though

Never have dreamed of crashing. I don't remember many dreams. How often do y'all remember what you dream? I'd say, maybe, once every 3 months I'll remember a dream for the day after. Only once a year or longer will I dream something I won't forget.
Any of y'all have lucid dreams regularly?

Even after totaling a bike, I've never dreamed about wrecking. I do daydream about running a motgp spec bike. But who doesn't do that!? I've had dreams of killing people before. Like a self defense or protecting someone type of thing. Also had a dream where I called my mom one day and someone had broken in there house and had them hostage. Heard my dad get shot and killed on that one. Two rounds. That spooked me so bad I couldn't sleep anymore that night. So yeah, I have f'ed up dreams.

Every once in a while I dream of the crash I had. I'm always going down the freeway towards a wall of bikers. I crash right before I get to them and land on my chin, which is where I took the impact in my crash. My crash didn't happen like this, but the impact was the same.

Immediately afterwards I wake up with my scar burning.

Moral of the story: He-who-must-not-be-named has returned...

Only dream of crashing once a year or so. But when I do, it is very scary. Usually in a turn that gets progressively tighter, but with no throttle or brake control. I usually wake up just before I slide out and hit the cement wall that is along the outside of this particular devil corner. Mother.

I can't remember when the last time I even recall dreaming. I'd have to say it's been several years since I have woken up and realized that I had a dream at all.

I can remember having tons of lucid dreams when I was younger. Before high school or so.

Had a dream a few weeks ago, when my bike was in the shop, that my bike was all fixed and running perfect.

A few days later my dream came true.

I've never dreamt of riding or being in a wreck. Fact, aside from once, my bike has never featured in my dreams. The once was a really weird sequence of dreams that I'm convinced weren't mine.

Most of my dreams involve the ninja bogging down with carb trouble in strange towns I can't find a way out of

When I had the CX Custom I used to dream of riding like a Viking

Crash dreams only occur the week after crashes (the cause always morphs into brake fade in the dream)

I lucid dream often, but i rarely have control over it. I call bullshit on almost everyone who says they have full control over it. I used to immediately wake up when i realized i was dreaming, but now i just consider waking up, then decide to go do something else. One time i realized i was dreaming so i went and hit on one of my straight male friends in the dream. They still werent interested.

I actually awoke from a crash dream this morning. In it I was in the back seat of a car being driven by a friend and he ran into the back of a police car despite me and the other passengers screaming at him about the emminient collision. Thankfully, it was only a dream.

I just dream of brake failure,
in fact my whole life has been one long failed brake. If I tried to take off in an aeroplane there would be a red traffic light half way down the runway

I fly for a living and I've never dreamed of crashing an airplane.

But I do have lots of recurring dreams were I damage the airplane while taxiing (i.e., dinging a wingtip or ending up with wheels off the taxiway in the mud).
