Need immediate help
Hello purchased a 2007 ninja 250, 13k miles. Recently been having trouble starting and today I left my petcock in the on position.( regret it now.) Come out of work today and gas everywhere. No idea what could have caused this but gas is leaking from what appeared to be the left side exhaust pipe. I believe it is a carburetor issue but don't know where to start. Need help immediately. From Las vegas if anyone can help. 725-261-2526 is my number. Thanks in advance.

Your carb needle and seat is bad.
A don't start the bike. Drain the oil and change the oil and filter. Remove the spark plugs and unplug the ignition module . Crank the engine over just to clear any fuel from the cylinders. Then rebuild the carbs. The reason for unplugging the ignition is. If fuel spray comes out of the engine with the plugs removed they can still spark. You don't want a fire.

Welcome, Brennden !!!
Your petcock is also bad, because it is supposed to stop the flow of fuel into the carbs when the engine is off. Do exactly as explained above. Do not try to start the engine because you could bend a connecting rod: at least one cylinder is full of fuel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrolock

"Remove the spark plugs and unplug the ignition module . Crank the engine over just to clear any fuel from the cylinders. Then rebuild the carbs"
when cranking the engine, be careful of a geyser of fuel...keep your face, eyes out of the way! Have wiping towels, rags on hand, draping them above the open spark plug hole prior to cranking a good idea. when dealing with the carbs, focus on the float system valves and seats (precisely where your failure has occurred) Have replacement float valves and float bowl orings on hand in advance. Automatically replace both on both carbs, regardless, cheap insurance. Change your engine oil as well.

Welcome Brennden,
Good luck with the fixes, shouldn't be too hard.

Brennden, I looked to see your location, and noticed you have a street address shown. I suspect you didn't mean to do that.

Wow that was fast, so rebuild carbs, change oil, and make sure to.empty out cylinders? And what's a good place to get parts? Estimated price for all of this?
