Hmmmm good question, but in all honesty... Check the pic below, and think about an 18'' muffler at the end of the midpipe.



With the current angles, it makes sense why the 12'' can is the only packaged option. I guess if one was doing something custom, Kerry might sell the 18'' muffler separate. But then all claims of power gains and mapping would fly out the window.

That pic is a n250 missing the muffler. The only thing I can do is ask if Kerry will sell the muffler as part of this gb or as a separate sale.

Kerry let me know that you CAN purchase a replacement muffler, but it will not count against this group buy (full systems only). If you originally purchased the system directly from AreaP, he indicated he would work with you directly on pricing.

If I can do anything to help with that please let me know, or you're also free to work with AreaP directly.

Michael, see the past history of last years group buy. 5 days after order placement, Kerry started shipping systems.

Now... if your order doesn't ship in 5 days this go around, don't sweat it too much. As a 2 time AreaP custom myself, imho plan 7-14 days to build the systems + any shipping days. I anticipate Kerry beating those numbers as his history has shown, but we gotta give the man some time to actually do the work.

I was wondering I have a 08 250. what the difference in HP between 12 and 18 in full race system. what is the weight difference also. what did they move away from the turn down tip?

Here are the answers from Kerry (in bold), hope it helps.

About one pound.

Why did AreaP move away from the turned down tip in favor the flat billet end cap?
Primarily because more and more customers were requesting it over the last few years. They preferred this newer style (we've been actually offering it for about the last 7 or 8 years on other models). Was not worth continuing to manufacture the older style turn down exit tip.

lol, I feel ya man. I was chomping at the bit erry day when I order my pregen system.

I will be sending my group buy order sheet to Kerry tomorrow morning during my morning coffee, after a 4th proofread.
