New to forums! From SoCal
Hey guys!
I'm glad to be joining on here, seeing as most people here ride a 250r and there will be no hate going around. I'll start by a little background info on my bike and such. So, I actually started riding on a Yamaha r1 and it was a blast, but very hard to learn on. I was riding that for about a year, until sometime last spring, an old lady in a Buick pulled out from a stop sign about 30 yards from me and I ended up T-boning her driver side door, flying over her car, and sliding for about another 20 yards to a stop in the middle of an intersection. Seeing as I was wearing a full track suit and a nice helmet I ended being perfectly fine and walked off. I told myself that I don't need a big bike since I usually only commute on it and hit the twisties every once and a while, so I got a Ninjette. I LOVE IT. The power decrease sucks, but the ability of fun increased. I'm quite the DIY mod freak, as I am a bored college student and can be stupid about things at times. I've done everything from a DIY fender kit, to front end lowering to fit clip-ons. The mods to my bike currently are: -Fender eliminator -Exhaust modification/redo -Woodcraft rearsets -Vortex, gold clip-ons -Green LED's -Front end lowering -Mirror removal/Bar End mirror add-on -And of course, stickers for more Horsepower Thanks guys!! Bike looks good! It's pretty nice in north county, I was down there the other weekend for house of motorcycles beach care event. Scored a Bell helmet from the raffle
