Angry

SOOO pissed at the weather even if you added up the predicted temps for the next few day it still would not be warm enough to ride. Totally understand why the Vikings used to go Berserk and kill everyone!!!! I need to go for a ride.

I just saw an advanced forcast for March15th and they are still calling for really cold temps. We have a introduction and walk around for the Thompson track in CT. I don't know what to do if the temp still sux by then. I have gotten thru the last few weeks telling myself it will be warm soon. Cant take much more of this!!!!!!

THE STORM MISSED US!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOOO

Never thought I'd be so pleased to wake up and see nothing but gray skies and sand all over the roads.

Hooray... we're tied for the coldest March day on record... -6... FML. "They" are saying it *might* warm up to the low 40s next week. That won't be enough to melt the permafrost, but it's a start in the right direction.

I got snow. I rebuilt a 79 gl1000 for my uncle. I was waiting on a part to arrive today so I could ride his new bike to him in Texas on Wednesday.
Snow delayed the part and also made me wonder why I love motorcycles so much. My uncle prolly wont be getting that bike for a while. The idea of a 12hr mc trip in sub freezing temps is somewhat daunting even without snow and ice.

At least it's a Goldwing! Is it one of the early unfared ones?

Was crappy here Sat, Sun, and today until about 1pm. Took Ninjette out for a 20 mile ride this afternoon. Two and a half weeks until spring!

No fairings. I did add a small aftermarket windscreen to give me a bigger mileage range per day. My last trip was on a naked bike in 42 degree rain. After that I said I would never tour without wind protection.

Oh, you lucky east coasters with your winter wonderland!

My furnace died yesterday due to failed blower motor. Ordered a new motor, but it won't be here until Monday. . At least it's 50 F outside (morning, noon, and night). About 55 F inside. Leaving lights and TV on for heat. And Prettywife is making cookies (also good for heat).

Try downloading "Construction", that seems to be a requisite for warm weather.

Fan motor arrived 3 days ahead of schedule (about an hour ago). Install went well (only one minor cut from razor-sharp sheetmetal), furnace works again! Life is good! Even slipped in a ride in 3 hours ago.
