New from Alabama
Just joined. No Ninjette yet but looking for one. I've had many motorcycles but always large ones. CBX,919 Honda, a couple of SV650s, Concours, a couple of KLR 650s, HD Heritage, cruisers and dirt bikes. Been off bikes a few years and looking for a bike to have some fun on. I'm older and slower so I need a slower bike.

Hi Bill, welcome! I hope you find one soon, they're a blast. I have bigger, faster motorcycles too, but sometimes the 250 is the one to ride. It's hard to beat it on the Dragon, for example.

I can fully relate to "older and slower" and recognize with age, downsizing has certain, definite advantages, nothing to be ashamed of, quite the contrary.
Bigger is not necessarily better. As a responsible, safe street rider, how fast do you really need to go? I'll take a comfortable, stable, lightweight agile handler any day over a pure go-go Ricky Racer. Welcome @BAMA BILL

Hi Bill..........
Mark in Pelham......I have a 2-fiddy in pieces giving the little booger a good detail job and thorough "going over". Hollar at me if you want to come visit and see my "other toys".
(Hint: Facebook is your friend at finding EX250's around here (Alabama)....cosmetically nice examples with minor problems [carbs] can be had for about $1,000.) |

Thanks guys. Moto-Kafe I've about worn MP out. I found one in Smith's Station that looks like it has been laid down. The fairing is missing and a couple in Ga and Miss. I like projects. Thanks for the invite.
