What I loved most was how it came alive when I'd wring its little Japanese neck.

Never been able to do that on the supersport, really. Close on the track, but it's still too much.

On the 250 I'd ride it around at full boogie all the time. That's the secret of little bikes, and why they're so much fun.

Well to quote almost every sane rider ever... Better to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

The time display. Love it so much!

It will never take my eyes again off from the road I'm going just to have a look at my watch!

What everyone else already said. Its more fun to wring out a 250 than baby a 1000.

The quiet exhaust that doesn't attract cops. Because I know I'm probably not going to have that again down the line

If you pulled 10k on a 1000 coming out of a corner you would be spinning the rear and wheeling while leaned over. It would be reckless.

When I pull 10-11k on my 250 leaving a corner it's fun and relativly safe.

the 250 can be manhandled, it can be pushed down, it can be yanked up if need be. It is more forgiving, doesn't bite (as much) You are in charge and telling the bike what to do.

the TL specifically, and other 1000cc bikes, it's more of a dual operation situation. I'll ask the TL, nicely, "how would you like to go over there?" the TL will say, "fine, get your ass off me and you had better not twist my grips too hard or i'm going to toss you on your head."

that is why 125s and 2-fiddy's will forever hold a special place in peoples hearts

it is also why my 996 is sweet, ya 250 riders get to flapp'n ya gums too much and I can just twist and leave that noize behind me.

I love that mine is a cheap beater of a bike. I have absolutely no anxiety about potential crashes, thefts, bird poop, people tipping it over, blowing it up, etc. No worries at all!

I was too freaked when i had nice 600s or 750s to really relax and just have low stress fun.

Teri, there's something else that the clips of your new exhaust brought to mind.

Soul.

I love my big bike and all, but it's got a whole different vibe to it. The sound of that parallel twin, with the right exhaust, is just fantastic. Neither of my current bikes come anywhere remotely close.

The bike is pretty much invincible... even if only because it's too slow to do any real damage. :P

My bike is a culmination of seven years of racing. Parts, experience and a lot of emotions all brought together in one machine. I have dedicated a lot of my life my money and personal sacrifice into what is sitting on the line. A lot of people have also given me support parts ,encouragement even there own hard earned money. Win, loose or draw. I will keep going . This bike just holds it all.
