New ninja owner and first motorcycle
My name is Chad and I purchased my black 2014 ninja 300 on November 6, 2015. I am 37 years old and I have wanted a motorcycle for over 12 years and just got one. I live in south Louisiana and I also enjoy hunting and fishing. If anyone lives in south Louisiana we can ride together.

Welcome Chad, here are just a few things to think about,
1.Get trained and licensed MSF Courses 2.ALWAYS Wear protective gear -- ATGATT All The Gear, All The Time -- including a helmet manufactured to the standards set by a government agency. 3.ALWAYS Ride unimpaired by alcohol or other drugs 4.ALWAYS Ride within your own skill limits 5.Be a lifelong learner by taking refresher rider courses, and advanced rider course A.R.C. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=218237 https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...8&postcount=26 A.T.G.A.T.T. so I may ride another day.

Finally got to ride bike for first time. It is really fun and I like how it runs and feels. Got to ride it to church and a hour and a half earlier this morning. Does anyone have troubles seeing behind them with the mirrors? I trying to find the right spot. Right now I have been putting my arms wide on handlebars and looking in between my arms.

If I'm changing lanes or for any other reason need to know for sure what's there, I turn and look the same way I would without any mirrors (e.g. on the track).

Yeah. I started bringing my arms in and looking around them. When I change lanes I been doing head checks. Put about 100 miles on it today. Can't wait to get it broken in. I just riding it at different RPM's and not staying at same RPM too long.

If I see a youthful person on a motorcycle in flip flops, is it safe to assume they're yours?
