Turn signal replacements?

Unfortunately my bike was in a bit of a crash.. nothing too serious, no one badly hurt... anyway... the bike is in overall decent condition aside from a crack in the front fairing and a broken turn signal..

I need to replace the broken one, unfortunately my turn signals point downward. [see photo] So I am afraid if I buy an OEM replacement it will point a different way and look funny.

On the search for a replacement, I decided that it would be cheaper just to buy flush mounts. But I am worried that the new mounts will not cover the old holes..

So here I am, if anybody has any suggestions/links etc. on a flush mount I could buy, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

A piece of thin black (or other color) plastic can be cut as a backing plate to aftermarket flush mounts. ie... they completely cover the hole and you just make a new hole for mounting the flush mount. Do a good job cutting the backing plate, and it will look just fine.

Okay.. good idea. I wonder if some Carbon fiber wrap would suffice. It doesn't have to be perfect

Try taking the left signal and mount off and install em on the right side. See if that changes their direction.

@Singh2jz Sorry man, my dad just ended up buying me some flush mounts. They were only $25 so it was fine... took a little work to get them on but everything is working good now. Now I am trying to sell it... hopefully I can get $1,400 that's my goal...

No worries. Glad everything worked out and good luck with the sale. I'm not saying I'm happy about you selling your ninjette though lol.

No worries, I'm going to buy another. Something that's newer. Probably a 2010 +

You just saved yourself right there. Lolzz

That's good because you won't have to worry about mechanical issues as much.

haha, you guys are funny.

I considered a CBR 250 for a minute there but decided against it after I thought about it more... I mean the Kawasaki Ninja 250 is such a beautiful bike. I could literally stare at it for hours. I am not joking.
The Cbr 250 is almost ugly imo. I don't know why, maybe it's the color scheme... who knows... but it is no where near the ninja 250 in looks and I think 99% of people agree. Not to mention the ninja can go on the highway easier.

If I could afford one, I would get a 300. But I can't

Turn Signal

Don't know your exact situation. A couple of weeks ago, I came out from work to find that one of my rear turn signals had been knocked off. Morons not giving enough space around the bike, even stationary.
Take off the riding gear and check out the situation. The stock mounts will allow the turn signal to "break away" from the plastics. Look at how the mounting is done. Interesting to see!
I looked at flush mount turn signals, but decided against them. I want the "cagers" to be able to see as much of me as possible. Flush mounts might look good, but looking good might cost you.
Your decision.

Just installed them, I only picked them because they were cheaper than a stock replacement and they will help me sell the bike quicker.
