Is it just me or is actually pretty hard to tell the cosmetic differences from one gen to another. I mean I have to look at pictures side by side or do an A/B comparison.

Looks cool though!

Don't think it's cosmetics changed, just the engine.
A new 636 sounds great to me, since they seem to be such a popular bike choice previously.

Yeah I'll take an 05! I think they are such a sexy bike. They are starting to show their age but I don't care.

By far my favorite Ninja. Swap out those amber turn signals for clear ones..make em flush mounts and they wont look too old at all.

Love that they're bringing back then engine though! I heard those things were way torquey and you didn't have to rev em over 7k to get the muscle going.

2013 ninja 636 photos leak

http://tmcblog.com/2012/09/10/close-...i-zx6r-636-cc/

Looks like the new 636 has leaked. And a vid I assume the above source got its photos from. Shows the 636 around 3:30

Link to original page on YouTube.

Looks pretty good. Looks like the zx-10r 636 and 300/250 are all going to share the whole mantis look.

That is one FUGLY muffler (too long). Everything else looks good to me.

I think I'm the only one but I don't like that it has 36 more cc's as before.

Kawasaki used to use black as an accent color, but now they're blending it 50/50 with the primary color of the bike. Not sure I like that, but I love the new razors-edge fairing design they're using.

Hmm...a lot of that bike looks like the 250.

Exhaust, front windshield, they even put that hideous rear fender on it.

I'm thinking kawasaki is starting to standardize their bikes for each year like yamaha does. It's getting to the point now where you cant tell the difference between the R6 and the R1 anymore....Im guessing kawi is going this route too.

I'm glad, perhaps it will finally let them all look good, instead of only the superbikes getting the good looks.

I would also like it with more green (I myself actually wanted my 250 to be all green but SE scheme has grown on me), but the 13th is coming soon so we shall see what colors kawi decides to go with.

First 600 with both traction control and ABS. Kawasaki innovating before others, feels like they are on top of their game right now. One exception might be their designs...

I agree let's start with how his post began.
