I'm about 600 miles into my first set of bt45's. Gotta say they are a huge improvement over the IRC's. More confidence in turns, and the highway stability.

Just got my bt45's put on the rims today. Putting them back on the bike after I pick them up from the shop in like 10 hours after work. Went with the 110/140 combo. My front tire was basically dry rotting and my rear, well, had another year on it but figured what the hell, why not. Can't wait to feel the difference between the sets.

They're supposed to be great tires. Good choice

BT45s rock! I've used them on the street and on the track. As my track ability improved, I upgraded to 003s, but I plan to put BT45s on my 300 whenever I get it. They last a lot longer. I'm going to put the IRCs that come on the 300 on my 250, sell it, and charge an extra hundred bucks because, "Look! It has brand spanking new tires on it!" lol! I'll put my 45s on the 300. I'd do pretty much anything to avoid riding around on IRCs. I have to trust my tires to have faith in my bike and be able to truly enjoy it. IRCs SUCK!

I'm sure this must have been covered in some other thread but I guess I'm too lazy. So here's my quick question: To upgrade to a fatter tyre (110 front and 140 rear) do we need to modify the rims, forks or swingarm? Or make some other modifications / adjustments?

I'm about to get BT45's as well. Getting a good price from Chaparral motorsports.

No mods required to run a 110/140.

i am seeing that the IRC on the 300 are 110/70 and 140/70, checking revzilla the 110 comes only in 110/80, does it matter?

not to jack the thread started but
anyone here have compared the battlax s20 vs rosso 2?
