Comments on finish,fit,noise,shape ?
A relatively new product available here & looks pretty good with a Sharp rating of 4.

I wore a Shark RSI for a couple of seasons before getting a Shoei RF1100. The Shoei fits me slightly better so its my main helmet now. If it fits you right, Shark makes great helmets. Quality is right up there with the other premium brands and they make some of the thickest visors on the market. Their shield changing system isn't as easy as say the one Shoei uses but it still works well and is easy enough.

Got good reviews at revzilla, check out the scorpion exo-500 also has the flip down sun visor as well. I have a bell vortex but definitely will look at the scorpion in the spring.

They seem to have a lot of good comments & ratings so think will order 1 soon.
So far i haven t seen Scorpion or Bell available here,Shoei doesnt fit my melon well & the days of dropping $800 on the AGV GP Tech are over.

I have a Shark s900c ... and I love it. It isn't the lightest helmet I've ever owned, but it is the most comfortable. The s900 has the built in visor which adds to the weight a little, and also adds some wind noise. But, I recently wore it for 5 hours straight, (except for a 3 minute period when I removed it to pay for gas) and it was comfortable for the entire time.

I've found that helmets fit people very differently. For example, I like the Arai helmets, but I've tried on dozens, and haven't found one that fits me yet. The Shark just fits me perfectly.

I have the European as well as the US version of the Shark Race R Pro.

It's light, I find it to be very comfortable, with TONS of free flowing ventilation [though it if it's super hot and super dry, ventilation won't do much good even then]. The fit is good for me, and I honestly like the "crumple zone" design they use in their EPS liners a lot more than the standard solid EPS. Really my only complaint about them is they are pretty loud. The newest [2013+] are supposed to have taken away a lot of this issue with a new skirt, so when the time comes I will invest in another. And they're expensive, but worth every last penny. Definitely try it on first, all the sizes you can get your head in --- if it doesn't fit well, you're not going to like it.

The Race tinted visor.. Is probably one of my favorite things. It's the darkest visor I've ever used or seen. Terrible for cloudy day riding, but perfect for hot sunny days. I've probably put well over 10000 miles, and I love it. When I wrecked my first one, I went and bought another.

The US vs EU: are more or less the same except the US version has an extra 300 grams or so of weight. Where it get's it.. I have no clue. The European version is what is given the 5 star SHARP rating, and I honestly don't give a rats ass about the DOT rating. Next time I will go with the European version again.

I forgot to add two things:
1. Field of view.. AMAZING. I always forget to tell people this, because I never realize how unrestricted the field of view since it's not in my way to begin with [and thus it doesn't irritate me].
1b. The may literally be bulletproof.
2. They look badass [in my opinion]

Depends on your head, I loved my RSX till the crash trashed it, it fit perfect for me and reduced much of the noise, it was pure ecstasy with earplugs.

Top class helmets.

I've had the Openline & currently have the RSI. My dad has the S900. All get very good reports.
Bounced down the road in the openline & it stayed shut. I've had the RSI for a few years, and about 20,000 miles, daily use. It was pretty quiet when I got it, it's loud now but I wear earplugs so that doesn't bother me.

The anti-fog is great, I've been out in all conditions, it's never fogged up on me (bar the one time in about -10C where my breath froze on contact with the visor!)

Think Shark have a similar fit to Shoei. both fit me, Arai don't.

Looks great, fits great and the integrated visor is convenient and really good looking. Great airflow (as a result a bit noisy). Comes with chin curtain (keeps out wind) and breath guard (keeps visor from fogging up).

Would be nice if the outside visor had a locking mechanism when open. If I go over a hard bump it closes. On the other hand, keeping it closed isn't a problem. A really nice, snug fit when closed. Vision is incredible you if you keep it clean you won't really notice the visor at all.
