I would be game latter in the year. My bike won't be on the road till the end of March and it's still to damn cold for a fun ride.
What roads you thinking? We normally go up river road every weekend.

thats the stretch of river road (32) we go up.
We hop on at the bridge in Yardley and go up to New Hope. There's some great roads around there.

City Escape; Philly, PA (my birthtown)

Text: Bud Miller • Photography: Bud Miller
This route meanders along both sides of the Delaware River through New Hope and Easton to its northernmost point in Columbia, NJ. Spring to fall is the best time to take this shaded scenic ride.
Length
Approximately 165 miles
Meet-up spot
The Eagle Diner, 739 W Street Rd, Warminster, PA.
Lunch stop
Riverside Barr & Grill, 5801 South Delaware Dr, Easton, PA, (610) 258-1008. This well-known bike stop along the river features a shaded patio and outside bar.
Scenery (4 out of 5)
This ride through rolling farmland offers expansive river views and passes through quaint Pennsylvania and New Jersey towns.
Traffic (5 out of 5)
The popular towns of New Hope and Lambertville may be crowded on weekends, but the trip through each is fast. In between towns the traffic is nonexistent.
Difficulty (2 out of 5)
This is an easy ride; outside Philadelphia, traffic isn’t an issue. Adventurous riders may want to detour up Uhlerstown Hill Road in Tinicum Township.
Road conditions (5 out of 5)
All roads are in superb condition. Several steel grated bridge crossings can feel somewhat odd to inexperienced riders.
Attractions
Tyler State Park
Hiking trails and picnic facilities highlight 1,711 acres on the banks of the Neshaminy Creek.
Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial
The Pennsylvania memorial sits amid the natural
beauty of Bucks County and features a spiral
walkway leading to the pool of reflection.
Ringing Rocks County Park
Located in Upper Black Eddy, this park features
“ringing rocks” that resonate like bells when struck.
Ralph Stover State Park
Inside, a mecca for rock climbers known as High Rocks sits high above a bend in Tohickon Creek.
New Hope, Pennsylvania
This tourist town includes restaurants, art
galleries, antique shops, and a vibrant nightlife.
