I'm headed into Pittsburgh in the morning so if I can see them along my route I will stop, snap a pic, and post... When I got up here Friday it was dark so no pictures were taken!

I fail at life, the only time I saw windmills was heading home from Pittsburgh around the Somerset service stations and the traffic was way too heavy and moving too fast for me to stop safely to get the windmill picture... Maybe next time!

Nothing like this anywhere near me. My best shot at a windmill would be on a putt-putt course.

Got some pictures from my ride. I believe these are Nexgen turbines. There's also one at the back of the local High School, but I didn't get a picture snapped of that one because I was in the zone and forgot.

if accepted, how about your bike near a sign/poster/box office for a performance of a musical

So no good? I though everyone was OK with it as long as it was over the 3 day mark....

I thought the caveat was "your bike", with no specification on what type of bike. Be it Ninjette or any other motorcycle or any bicycle that you are actually out riding.

Why is this all such a big deal? Chill out and roll with it.

I think we were all on the same page that chone offered a solution IF no motorcycle owners were able to complete the challenge before the deadline.

Had a motorcycle been able to get the shot, then no a bicycle would not be accepted (like mine in the bedroom - the next morning a real submission was entered).

This game stalls a lot and I, for one, am glad to get it moving again. So, @ManyCavies, if you have a picture of your motorcycle with the wind turbines, you'll win and the challenge is yours.

Otherwise.. your bike near a sign/poster/box office for a performance of a musical

Yeah, that was 3 days.
morning of 23 when you posted = 0 days
morning of 24 = 1 day.
morning of 25 = 2 days
morning of 26 = 3 days
late afternoon of the 26 when I posted = 3+ days.

I posted it the 26th in the late afternoon/early evening. That's 3 days in my books.

I'm just trying to keep this moving so it's more about going for a ride to get a fun picture and less about the politics of waiting an exact amount of time and following specific rules. The intent of the thread is a little lighthearted fun to get an excuse to go for a ride. I'd been meaning to take a picture of the windmills for 2 years anyway, that was just my excuse to do so.

Besides, the ninja doesn't go with me to school and many of the challenges over the summer were not easy for me to get because the game kept stalling out or they were really obscure challenges. This is supposed to be a fun thread, let's keep it that way.

As school just started up around here, not sure what their season looks like or when they'll be putting on musicals, but I suspect this challenge will be long over before then. Maybe Reno has something...

Oh Grease is at the Eldorado! That counts.. Now to find their billboard...

I'd accept a performance with a choir or something like that also. Every major city should have at least SOME musical performance going on...

If no one gets this, a picture with a DVD would be alright I guess, but at least go ride someplace that is a cool background.

I should've had this one tonight...

On my way home, I passed the Orpheum Theater which was featuring "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert".

My phone battery died! LoL!

Memphis also has an Orpheum theater, plus a few other Indie type theaters. I'll try this one at lunch today. Looks like it's a race to the Orpheum!

BOOM! Les Miserables, just for yall! It wasn't even at the Orpheum. This was at the Playhouse on the Square, a smaller theater in Midtown (where the hipsters live).

If accepted... Work-from-home people don't count on this one... Your motorcycle OR bicycle in front of the front door of your office/employer.
