I figured I would never get one! I just happened to get the front row spot this morning! If that wasnt accepted I would have pulled it up on the curb and blocked the door next :-)

Either way works for me. I just wanted to put one out there for the people who actually commute on their bikes.

what is this blue sky you speak of? There are historic texts that mention once, long ago, the sky was blue and the sun was yellow. But it has not been for so long! The sky is orange and the sun red. I know not what this blue is.

Your bike up on stands in some sort of repair state (in honor of my bike being wrecked on Sunday)

I had my bike all stripped down on Saturday! Aside from her top, she was bare frame nekkid while up on her stand.

However, since I just got her working and all back together again I don't really feel like going through that routine again. Ugh

Does this count?

It's a work in progress The stands are there just no where to attach them to. LOL Front fork assembly is in top right corner of picture and subframe is tucked under rear of bike unattached.

If accepted, your bike at a drive-thru beverage barn or drive-thru diner with a drink.

It's hot here in Texas and I'm thirsty!

I just went through a Jack In The Box drive thru last night! I had nowhere to put my food & drink! LoL! I had it stuffed in my jacket only to find out when I got home, they didn't put bacon on my burger!

Non-picture thread related post, but have to say this is the first I've heard of a "beverage barn" or "drive-thru diner". I'm presuming that the drive thru diner can cover stuff like McD's or BK, but what's a beverage barn?

I thought a drive through bev barn was basically a drive-thru beer/liquor store.

And a drive thru diner would be something like Sonic. Hurry! Someone go get a coconut cream shake!

Are you serious?!? Those are real??? I first heard about those from these dialect maps (http://www4.ncsu.edu/~jakatz2/project-dialect.html) and thought that was a joke. Wow... Strange country we live in.

Yes, they have them in the outerbanks in North Carolina. They call them Brew Thru's. You drive your car in and get beer or wine and drive out the other end. Similar to an automatic car wash!

LOL which is actually backed up by the data on those maps. The only significant place that uses the term "brew thru" is in an area near the coast between Virginia and North Carolina.

Okay, data geek going away now.

So where are we at here? Is this still what's going on...

Current challenge: your bike at a drive-thru beverage barn or drive-thru diner with a drink.

Finally made it out to try for this one. Couldn't go until Sunday and, here in Texas, liquor stores can't open on Sunday...so I couldn't actually drive through. Hope this counts!
If it counts...next challenge is your Ninjette in front of a water tower painted to look like something else (for example, Luling Tx looks like a watermelon, Lakeway Tx looks like a golf ball, etc).

I am anything but the end all say all here but seeing a lack of progression in the game I would accept your submission, you didn't have a drink in the picture but oh well good enough for me.

I believe the general consensus is that if a challenge is not complete after so many days then a new challenge is created. The challenge you submitted for had been going for a while so your picture is good enough.

Suggest another challenge and lets get on with it.

Damn! I was in Brownsville this summer and it was the first time I saw such a thing. It was a golf ball at the top.

@skbrent That was a great challenge but it looks like it will fall into the books with others as incomplete. Would you like to suggest a new challenge?

Hmmm...of my ideas I thought that was the most likely to be found but we can try one of the others. How about your ninjette in front of something that proclaims to be the "worlds largest" or just a giant version of something, like the big muffler men you see in front of auto parts stores, a music store with a giant sax shaped sign out front, a restraunt with a giant 15' tall fork out front (both things we have hear in Austin).

This giant doughnut count? Sorry for the poor quality of my old cellphone's camera.

If accepted,
your ninja in front of a martial arts dojo, preferably with the dojo's name pictured.
