You can adjust your preload with a 10mm wrench in about 2 seconds without having to pop off your pistons everytime you want to tweak the front suspension. I bought them in a group buy last year and have been really happy thus far. I don't know how they compare to emulators though.

If someone can tell me how high these sit I will be in. Reason I ask is because in the Aussie 250 proddy class "handlebars must mount in the same position".

So I've got a set of these which are hollow underneath to an extent Clip-ons

You can see how high they sit in the picture above? They shouldn't interfere with your bars at all.

I need a list of 10 committed buyers.

I will talk to the SSR and they will either send coupon code or set up a special.

There is absolutely zero incentive in this for me other than the group buy rate that everyone is getting if this goes through.

Not sure what exactly you need to know, but after measuring mine, it looks like the adjuster screws protrude about 32mm above the top of the fork tube. If you have to use stock handlebars, supposedly they fit inside of the stock bars perfectly, but I can't find where I put my old bars, so I can't personally confirm this. Regardless, they definitely don't stick up higher than the stock bars did.

Also, relevant threads if you want more pictures, a little more information, and/or want to know what you'll need to do to install these:

I see they add a bit of height to the fork above the triple.

I wonder if they'd provide enough to clamp my clip-ons above the triple without raising the forks... speculation, anyone?

I like my clip-ons, but don't like the angle needed to clear the bodywork. Putting 'em above the triple and angling them down more would be a good thing.

However, there isn't enough fork tube up there to do it without significantly altering my steering geometry, and that's something I don't want to do.

You could always slide the fork tubes through the triple a little more as I think these caps would only add a couple of millimetres. bear in mind this will alter your steering geometry

most emulators replace the stock oil valving with 2 adjustable valves in the bottom of the forks. they let you independently adjust the damping rate for compression and rebound vs. the stock which is non-adjustable and doesn't have separate rates for compression vs. rebound.

the difference between cartridge forks and emulators is you have to disassemble the entire fork and remove the emulator every time you want to adjust the damping rate. whereas the cartridge forks have access to the adjustments on the outside of the forks. (the whole "no modifying the outside of the fork" rule probably comes into play with that... just guessing)
