"This whole winter thing...." IS OVER HERE WOOH YES FINALLY NO MORE SNOW temps in the 40s and 50s up here in the Spokane area, 60s and 70s down home! Had the window down in my Mustang last weekend heading back up to school... only thing that would've made it better would've been me being on my bike instead of in the car lol. Or if my car had T-tops or something that'd be nice too.

I iz excited.

it's been 7 months sense I was on my bike. Don't mind me, delirious with excitement.

Only down side is tomorrow, it is going to be high 20s but after the 40s to 50s and hopefully up from there.

The temptation to ride is going to grow increasingly. The weather is headed above freezing and the roads are clear of everything but dust, gravel and dirt. Only one ice bar stands between me and the open road. It's right in front of the driveway.

It was a chilly 3oF this morning. It is supposed to warm up considerably next week. To around 41oF

Back on the road this week as the snow has finally left the roads (but not the walks). Still, commute-time temps are 20F-30F, which sucks.

Due to extreme length of freezing, the trapped water is heaving up and the MI roads are complete crap. Gravel on EVERY corner means cars are stacked up behind me on every intersection turn. They can just wait as their need to hurry does not trump my need to not do a lowside on wet gravel.

I have to leave *more* than two carlengths to avoid the massive potholes left by the heaving. Good luck everyone.

After yet MORE snow yesterday, this morning dawned bright, sunny and actually a few degrees above freezing. Who woulda thunk... it's only friggin' April, after all!

Fingers were chilly from the ride to work but whatever. At least it's a RIDE!
