Looks real good on the ebony bike. How hard was it to make the vinyl conform to the weird angles on the fairings?

I think you need to do the very bottom fairings also.

I did the bottom as well, it's just not visible from the camera angle.

It's pretty easy. You just need a heat gun or hair dryer and a lot of patience.

That thing looks better in each image. I love CF and your bike doesn't disappoint.
I have a true CF hood on my 96' Stratus which started my obsession with the stuff. |

Hey J, I'm from Guelph, ON and just picked up my 300 this weekend. I'm really interested in ordering the 3M cf tape and doing this, but was wondering if you were willing to give me a hand with it if I rode down to your place this summer? I probably won't do it until later in the summer, once I've done my first service and put some money back in the bank. Let me know if you are willing to meet up with me later this summer. I'm really loving your blog so far and you have some amazing ideas! I have the woodcraft clip ons as well, they are so sweet! Looking to do CF wrap, fender eliminator and possibly dkmoto headlights if they are going to be doing a group buy this summer... Although I am try to see if I can't get something custom done with my own ideas using my headlight casing. Hope to chat with you soon!
Alim. |

I forgot all about CF wrap.... Thank you for reminding me. I might do this instead of painting my bike a different color.

Going to wrap the upper and lower fairings on the white ninja in a week or so. It should stand out pretty well. I'll post pictures once it's done.
