New to the forum, new to the Ninja

Hey everyone. Figured my first post should be in the new members section. This week I got not only my first Ninja, but my first motorcycle. Got a steal on the bike, although it does have some crash damage. It's a 1999 Ninja 250R. 6k on the odometer and only $1000. It runs like a dream. Oil and plugs were changed the morning I got it. All in all, not a bad deal.

I have been working on customizing the bike. Where would be the best place to set up a project log?

Hey what's up, welcome Donnie.

I'd venture over to the Pregen Tech Talk section to start a project log.

Yeah. I mean, it's got some damage. I can tell that it was laid down on the left side and probably slid a hundred feet or so. The front fairing is cracked in a few spots. The part of the fairing where the windshield bolts to is broke on the left side so the windshield was just kinda flapping when I picked it up. The bottom fairing also has a crack up the side but nothing major. I'm thinking some ABS cement and fiberglass will fix it up pretty good. I don't need it to be perfect.

EDIT:: As for the project log I have stumbled across the blog feature of the site

Yeah, idk how many people check that stuff out though as opposed to making your own thread and post in it keeping everyone updated. Good luck though!
