I can post some of the bike, nothing special, just a new sprocket and chain. smoother ride now though, my old chain was stretched to hell and made shifts a little jerky. Still the satisfaction of putting it all together on your own for first time is a great feeling

Can I hijack this thread a bit? The subject line made me think of another "on-topic" question. Has riding changed you as a person in any way? I'd say it gave me a bit more confidence...doing something I was raised to fear and pushing new personal limits and constantly growing as a rider...learning it's ok to **** up or fail and how good it feels to pick up and keep going after failure. It also taught me how to drive...I mean, really drive defensively. I'm a different person after learning to ride. Anyone else?

Oh, and sorry for the hijack, Lance.

That is the sort of conversation I was expecting when I first saw the post.
I have changed somewhat, but mainly when I ride though.

I have an alter ego when I ride- super chicken! One day I will be soaring like an eagle I hope.

I feel "embiggened" after completing a mechanical task successfully.

No problem, didn't get too many responses so go for it. I agree with you on how it has changed my driving tactics

I cut bread with my sword. At 4am usually. Naked usually. If there was a camera in my house streaming my life 24/7.... well... I'd be a hit show.

Please make sure your seatbacks are in the full upright and locked position. Secure your tray tables and prepare for takeoff. I'll be your captain for the flight and our destination lies somewhere between depravity and self-immolation. Expecting lots of turbulence along the way so buckle your seatbelts and please note the waste receptacle bags in the rear compartment located on the seat in front of you.

And one last thing... on this flight, smoking is no longer prohibited.
