lurker turned member in Kentucky

Just wanted to say a quick hello. I have a 2008 Ninja 250r with right around 19,000 miles and a beaten up old 1979 Suzuk GS 425 E. I kept finding myself coming back to this forum for tech advice concerning my little ninja and I eventually decided that being a member was easier than lurking. I do my best to do all maintenance myself and the great information on here has been invaluable. Thanks, y'all!

@ TNninjagirl-->I live in Greenup, Kentucky (Greenup is in northeastern kentucky close to where Ohio, WestVirginia and Kentucky meet) but I ride to Lexington Kentucky every other weekend.

The pace we ride don't matter at all to me. Can be a 25mph cruise for all I care. Shoot me a pm any weekend you wanna ride. We have some great roads between us.

There is another ninjetter in our area as well. But he is shy or maybe a loner...

Care to share that route? I ride the back routes to Cynthiana fairly often and try to do Lexington when I have the time. I do rides to Flemingsburg often enough as well.

Oh! Next time your in Lexington. Eat at Taco Tico! Get a smothered burrito, cheap and sooooo good. It's across the street from wal-mart on new circle road. I would ride there any day of the week for them!

I've ridden by Tico Taco before but never stopped. I'll make sure I drop in next time. =) Thanks for the tip! Hoping to head up to lexington this weekend. I'll shoot ya a PM when I know for sure. I usually just ride I-64, but old US 60 makes for better motorcycling. Ever ridden 32 to Morehead, KY?

Never rode 32 but I stumbled upon it in the cage my last trip to morehead. If I remember right, there are some surprise 90 degree turns on that road.

All in all, I would be happy to ride any of them. Sounds like a fun day of mostly new roads to me.

nice to meet everyone. I'll try to post a pic of my bike when I can, but living in a "holler" with no internet or cell service and lacking a digital camera makes things difficult. lol

Lol. Thanks for the welcome. It seems like there are quite a few girls on here, so hopefully I'm in good company! Either way, it's always nice to meet other riders.

As far as the living in a holler thing goes...it's not as bad as I make it sound.

Going into town to use the internet sucks, but at least it's quiet.
